The Panopticon/Writer infobox

I have noticed that when selected from the (classic) editor screen, there is not an infobox for writers. Is there a reason for this? If writers are not meant to have infoboxes, then why does writer come up as an option? If they are meant to have them, is it ok to use the actor/crew member box?
