== Traveling through Time and Space.... And meeting the Doctor in the wrong order. ==

Hi, there, Side Quest Publications here.
Thanks to factors beyond my control, including, but not limited to, age, being a military brat, and available cable packages, I'm fairly new (ish) to the world of Doctor Who.

Case in point
My first Doctor Who episode: Gridlock
My first sighting of Jack Harkness: Utopia (TV story) (first sighting of John Barrowman, come to think of it)
First started watching regularly: The Waters of Mars (TV story) (when BBC America was added to our cable package's lineup)
First (and thus far only) Sarah Jane Adventures episode: Revenge of the Slitheen

And of course, there are all sorts of things I "knew" about from later episodes (e.g. The Time of Angels (TV story)) before I was "introduced" to them in earlier (Blink (TV story))
But thanks to DVDs and the internet, I will slowly but surely catch up!

Random questions:[[edit] | [edit source]]

If I could take one trip on the TARDIS, where and when would I want to go?
Bit of a tough question to answer, that one. My cheating answer would be to the Time Agency so I could try to swipe a Vortex manipulator. Whaddaya mean, "one trip?"
Otherwise, there are plenty of amazing places within the world of Doctor Who, real-world historical events worth seeing first-hand, or maybe even looking for an Ark Planet similar to those in my own fiction.
Or, perhaps, going back in time just far enough to meet some of the older Doctor Who actors back when they were still alive and telling them in person just how much I enjoyed their work. Elizabeth Sladen comes to mind. Favorite episode(s)?
Another toughie. I don't have "a" favorite, I have various episodes that I especially like for just as various reasons.
As a motorcycle rider, I liked any episode featuring the Doctor (or companion) getting around on a motorcycle, e.g. The Idiot's Lantern, The Bells of Saint John, or The Time of the Doctor.
Midnight (TV story) I liked for the scare factor--many a viewer cites the Weeping Angels as one of the most frightening enemies, and I'll agree, but I say the one we know nothing about trumps even them.
