Welcome to the Tardis:About Coop3

Thanks for your edits! We hope you'll keep on editing with us. This is a great time to have joined us, because now you can play the Game of Rassilon with us and win cool stuff! Well, okay, badges. That have no monetary value. And that largely only you can see. But still: they're cool!

We only take the best!

We've got a couple of important quirks for a Wikia wiki, so let's get them out of the way first.
British English, please
We generally use British English round these parts, so if you're American, please be sure you set your spell checker to BrEng, and take a gander at our spelling cheat card.
Spoilers aren't cool
We have a strict definition of "spoiler" that you may find a bit unusual. Basically, a spoiler, to us, is anything that comes from a story which has not been released yet. So, even if you've got some info from a BBC press release or official trailer, it basically can't be referenced here. In other words, you gotta wait until the episode has finished its premiere broadcast to start editing about its contents. Please check the spoiler policy for more details.
Other useful stuff
Aside from those two things, we also have some pages that you should probably read when you get a chance, like:

If you're brand new to wiki editing — and we all were, once! —  you probably want to check out these tutorials at Wikipedia, the world's largest wiki:

Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes like this:
~ ~ ~ ~

Thanks for becoming a member of the TARDIS crew! If you have any questions, see the Help pages, add a question to one of the Forums or ask on my talk page. -- CzechOut (Talk) 20:27, 2012 March 22

Problemsedit source

Okay, so I must ask few things. One, I need you to begin using correct punctuation and capitalisation. You are presently typing like an Elementry schooler.

Second, we need you to start typing in a in-universe fasion. Typing the Master's name by his actor's is highly unorthodox. Also, remember to site sources like this:

TV: Whatever episode it is

I suggest reading though our rues for more.

Also, I need you to start contributing edits that don't come across as pointless, like you did at the Master and An Unearthly Child. Not trying to be mean or anything, but those edits were just rather silly...

Happy editing. OS25 (talk to me, baby.) 02:27, April 11, 2012 (UTC)

Please stop adding speculation. OS25 (talk to me, baby.) 14:36, April 11, 2012 (UTC)

Warningedit source

Be careful. Some of your edits appear to be vandalistic.

Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions here, please review our vandalism policy and consider whether all your edits have been made in the spirit of that policy. MM/Want to talk? 19:33, April 12, 2012 (UTC)

To the user who placed this tag: This message is pretty general and should usually be avoided. Please use one of the messages at warn list, or write a brief message of your own that tells the user specifically how they can improve their editing.

Speculation (again)edit source

Please stop adding speculation to articles. This is against our manual of style. If you continue to break this policy, I will have no option but to block, which, believe me, is some I do not want to do. Please consider this your final warning. Thanks. MM/Want to talk? 15:54, May 5, 2012 (UTC)

Please sign your commentsedit source

Please sign your talk pages comments either by using the button above the text box that looks like a signature or by using four tildes ~~~~. Signatures are imperative to be used on talk pages so that we know who is leaving the comments and know that they're not being left as a form of vandalism. --Tangerineduel / talk 17:03, July 6, 2012 (UTC)

Speculationedit source

Please stop adding speculation pages, such as you did on this page. Also, stop adding it to talk pages as well. All speculation must be kept to The Howling. I must warn you if you continue to add speculation to pages, you will be blocked. Thanks. MM/Want to talk? 08:51, July 9, 2012 (UTC)

Warningedit source

Please, remember to sign your talk page comments. This is fundamental to how interactions occur on a wiki, so that we know who is saying what in a discussion. As I have stated above it is very simple to add your signature to talk page or forum comments. --Tangerineduel / talk 13:25, July 12, 2012 (UTC)

Replyedit source

The page will also remain on the one page. We had a forum discussion about this last year, and it was decided that Melody Pond will only have one page. So I will be deleting any pages you create about different incarnations. Thanks. MM/Want to talk? 00:01, July 28, 2012 (UTC)

Again, no you won't. It will continue to be deleted and you will be blocked. If it means that much to you, please start a forum discussion. Apart from that, create no new pages for Melody Pond. MM/Want to talk? 10:15, July 28, 2012 (UTC)

Blockedit source

I've checked the block log and you are blocked for one week for 'Intimidating behaviour/harassment'. Don't ask me why, I ain't looked into. That wiki has nothing to do with me. MM/Want to talk? 00:13, August 1, 2012 (UTC)

You can always find your block length on any wiki by going to Special:Blocklist and entering your name in the field provided. Here's a direct link to the w:c:drwho.answers blacklist, which shows your block length was one week. Why do I think that was light? Because language such as you displayed would have likely earned a permanent ban here. Hence the following warning.

You must modify the way you communicate with other Wikia usersedit source

Be nice to others

You're welcome to edit here, but not in the way you did at this talk page at Doctor Who Answers. Brandon Rhea gave you a light blocking over there. But he's Wikia staff, "pinch-hitting" at a wiki without active admins or clear local policies in place. Know that tardis.wikia.com admins do not tolerate such behavior. If you denigrate or curse at users here, you will be found in violation of no personal attacks and permanently blocked. This is your one and only warning.

Final block warningedit source

After taking additional time to review your contributions to the Doctor Who Answers wiki — particularly these — I'm increasingly concerned about your incredibly foul language towards other users. On this wiki, I find your inability to accept collective discussions — as you demonstrated at User talk:Mini-mitch — equally troubling. Moreover, this entire talk page reveals a pattern of behavior in which you seem unwilling to follow our guidelines.

Your continued ability to edit this wiki is dependent upon your acceptance of a number of points:

 1. You must abide by decisions made in our forums. You cannot say that because you weren't present in the discussion you're not bound by it.
 2. You cannot, for any reason, curse any user, at any time.
 3. You cannot simply refuse to do what an administrator asks you to do, provided that the administrator in question is making a request of you that is reasonable within our rules and guidelines
 4. As made clear by T:MISLEAD USER, you cannot falsely represent yourself to other users as an administrator. You must, therefore, remove the line of your user page which says that your job is "administration". No, it's not.

At this point, I have to tell you that your behavior at drwho.answers, and your apparent unwillingness to follow our rules, is so, well, wrong, that any violation of any of our policies will result in blocking that will at least last until 1 January 2013, but will most likely be permanent.

When I posted the above message, I thought you had only been mean to a single individual at drwho.answers. Turns out, that's just the way you roll over there. Worse, you're not showing our admin staff much respect over here. I've never seen the kind of consistent abuse you deal out to people, so I want to make it crystal clear that we're not going to accept that kind of behavior here, nor will we accept your blatant refusal to follow our rules.

Make sure you've read all our policies and help files. You have zero chances remaining with us.
czechout<staff />   22:18: Sun 05 Aug 2012

I do not accept that you "didn't know" you were behaving improperly. No one could reasonably use such language over a number of different instances, and not know they were behaving anti-socially. Your defense of your actions is simply not credible.
Also, there are some words which simply can't be used in your user name or profile. Because "admin" has a specific meaning within a MediaWiki installation, you can't use it — or any word that includes it — to describe yourself, even if it's actually true that you work "in administration". As you yourself have admitted, however, you intended to pretend to be an admin at drwho.answers, so you'll see why there's doubt over whether you actually work in admin.
Regardless of the truth of your employment, what you must do now is incredibly simple. You have failed to comply with my instruction to change your occupation in the last 22 hours. It still reads "administration". If you do not change it by 00:00 UTC Tuesday 7 August 2012, you will be banned from editing this site.
czechout<staff />   20:19: Mon 06 Aug 2012
You have failed to meet the deadline. You are now blocked until 1 January 2013, as you were warned would happen.

Response to your post on my talk pageedit source

The admins decide how things go, because they are the ones in charge of this site. Look, you're not the only one who believes that The Night of the Doctor proves that the Eighth Doctor regenerated into the War Doctor. Just take a look at the War Doctor's talk page. Heck, I believe it as well. I actually was one of the people who first changed the Ninth, Tenth, and Eleventh Doctors' pages to reflect that. However, the admins made the call. Everything will be decided after The Day of the Doctor airs next week. Just wait until then. It's only one week.

Christmas cheeredit source

Happy holidays!

As this fiftieth anniversary year comes to a close, we here at Tardis just want to thank you for being a part of our community — even if you haven't edited here in a while. If you have edited with us this year, then thanks for all your hard work.

This year has seen an impressive amount of growth. We've added about 11,000 pages this year, which is frankly incredible for a wiki this big. November was predictably one of the busiest months we've ever had: over 500 unique editors pitched in. It was the highest number of editors in wiki history for a year in which only one programme in the DWU was active. And our viewing stats have been through the roof. We've averaged well over 2 million page views each week for the last two months, with some weeks seeing over 4 million views!

We've received an unprecedented level of support from Wikia Staff, resulting in all sorts of new goodies and productive new relationships. And we've recently decided to lift almost every block we've ever made so as to allow most everyone a second chance to be part of our community.

2014 promises to build on this year's foundations, especially since we've got a full, unbroken series coming up — something that hasn't happened since 2011. We hope you'll stick with us — or return to the Tardis — so that you can be a part of the fun!

Videosedit source

Hi! Please do not upload videos to this site and please don't link to off-site videos. Both actions violate Tardis:Video policy. Only admins are allowed to upload videos to this wiki. Thanks. Shambala108 19:26, May 22, 2015 (UTC)
