By some accounts, one side of Skaro permanently faced the Milky Way and was thus known to humanity as the visible side of Skaro, as opposed to the dark side of Skaro. It was predominantly this side where the Daleks lived, (PROSE: The Dark Side of Skaro [+]Loading...["The Dark Side of Skaro (feature)"], The Seventh Galaxy [+]Loading...["The Seventh Galaxy (feature)"]) being the side containing the continents Davius, Darren, and Dalazar and the Serpent Sea, Ocean of Ooze, Bottomless Sea, Sea of Acid, and Sea of Rust. (GAME: Dalography of Skaro [+]Loading...["Dalography of Skaro (game)"])
In Skaro's position in the Seventh Galaxy, this side faced the Serpent, Phebeyus, Oblivanus, and the Burning Clouds. (PROSE: The Seventh Galaxy [+]Loading...["The Seventh Galaxy (feature)"])
Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- This region, as depicted in the 1970s Dalek annuals, is the commonly known geography of Skaro introduced in PROSE: The Dalography of Skaro [+]Loading...["The Dalography of Skaro (feature)"].
- PROSE: The Seventh Galaxy [+]Loading...["The Seventh Galaxy (feature)"], which depicts the dark side of Skaro, does not acknowledge the previously-established moon of Flidor. This could be taken to suggest that Flidor's orbit stays around the visible side of Skaro.
