Wormwood Scrubs Prison was a prison run by Governor Clemence in 1969. It was located near Liverpool.
Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart posed as an inmate to break out Hugh Godfrey, so that he would lead him to the location of an alien rock. Fulton was a prison officer there, and turned a blind eye when three prisoners attacked Lethbridge-Stewart. He was arrested for these actions, and Governor Clemence was advised to resign.
