Ylum was visited by the Tenth Doctor and Donna Noble. Both of them liked it, the Doctor describing it as "very cosmopolitan". Upon learning Donna had acquired a Verron medal, the Doctor speculated to Wilfred Mott that Ylum was one of the possible places where Donna had met a Verron. (PROSE: Beautiful Chaos)
