Brucifax was a friend of Ambassador Rahnius and Tarbulon. The three played Space Golf together. (SJA: From Raxacoricofallapatorius With Love)

It is possible that, like Rahnius, Brucifax was a member of the Galactic Alliance.
The name is almost certainly intended to be a spoof of Bruce Forsyth (nicknamed 'Brucie') a fellow comedian with whom Ronnie Corbett plays golf.
