Captain Stapley was the pilot of the Concorde designated Golf Alpha Charlie which the Fifth Doctor used to investigate the disappearance of the Concorde designated Golf Victor Foxtrot. He helped the Doctor defeat the Master and free the Xeraphin. (DW: Time-Flight)
