The Library was a huge library that existed around the 50th century. It contained every book ever written and spanned a whole planet, with it's core the largest hard drive ever, serving as an index computer. It was commissioned by Felman Lux (spelling?) and was managed by a head librarian. The computer interface was mainly based on courtesy nodes, sculpture-like info terminals containing real faces. It also had levitating spherical wooden security cameras. Visitors were advised to swich off their mobile comm units.

At some point the Library was infected by Vashta Nerada, apparently killing all 4022 visitors in the building at the time, though a message also claimed that these were saved. The computer sealed off the planet and it took the Lux family 3 generations, a 100 years to decode the seals and assemble an archeological expedition to find out what happened.
