- Mandy Salter is a character on EastEnders, she appeared in Dimensions in Time as it was a crossover special with Doctor Who.
- Mandy appeared in the aired version of the program, however, another version was filmed with Big Ron. Before episode two aired, polls were set up for the audience to decide who would win, the votes could be put in by calling certain numbers. In the end, Mandy won, with 53% of the calls in her favor.
