- The Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver is destroyed by the Cyberleader.
- The Cybermen cannot convert aliens into Cybermen. (Which could contradict Lytton's near conversion in "Attack of the Cybermen" (1985) but this may not be canon).
- This comic story was rereleased in The Flood graphic novel.
