Talk:The Keys of Marinus (TV story)
Possible blooper/error... The Doctor and his companions had to leave the temple at the end of the story as it was going to be destroyed but in the last scene you can see the temple is still intact.

- The word there is was going to be, rather than is. I seem to recall that the explosion is stopped or prevented by the Voord. --Tangerineduel 15:33, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- They didn't.. they were caught in the middle of the explosion when they put in the fake key. --Clofts 00:45, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
As i haven't seen a first doctor episode for a few years I could be wrong but i am sure that there was some kind of explosion at the end Dark Lord Xander 01:00, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

does this ever show up again?
also, regarding the temple, yes, it does blow up. and yes they do show it again. i suppose they could pass it off as "only the inside blew up" but it's likely an oversight as they seemed to let little faux pas pass with relative frequency.

No cliffhanger
"It was also the first story... which did not end with a cliffhanger into the next serial." Marco Polo doesn't end with a cliffhanger into this story. Gildir 22:20, March 15, 2011 (UTC)
