Private Moriarty was a soldier who was called in to guard a crashed meteorite. He demanded to know who Gwen Cooper was when she bumped into him. Like his fellow soldier, Sgt Johnson, he was sceptical when Gwen claimed she was from Torchwood, but backed down when Jack Harkness confirmed it. (TW: Day One)
