The Hostess was a human who served the beings who wanted to go to the planet Midnight, via shuttle bus. She gave her life to defeat the unidenitified create that possessed Sky Silvestry and threatened to cause the Doctor to be left to die.
After her death, the Doctor and the surviving passengers realize to their regret that none of them found out her name. (DW: Midnight)
