Stars in their Eyes was an Earth television show, likely from around the turn of the 21st century.
Much later, when Satellite 5 was known as the "Game Station", it was remade by the Bad Wolf Corporation. The contestants had to be the best or they would suffer blindness and (presumably) death. (DW: Bad Wolf)
