Central Park was a park in the centre of Manhattan Island, New York City.
The Hooverville shanty town was in the park. It was attacked by Daleks (DW: Daleks in Manhattan / Evolution of the Daleks)
In the early 21st century, the Butler Institute would collect homeless people from Central Park as a source of replacement organs for the corporation's employees. The Seventh Doctor arranged for Vincent Wheaton to be picked up at Central Park by the Institute as part of his plan to bring it down. (NA: Cat's Cradle: Warhead)
