format

• The Sarah Jane Adventures cast:
  • Primary: Sarah Jane Smith, Luke Smith, Maria Jackson, Clyde Langer
  • Secondary: Alan Jackson, Chrissie Jackson, Mr Smith

• Torchwood cast:
  • Primary: Jack Harkness, Ianto Jones, Gwen Cooper, Toshiko Sato
  • Secondary: Rhys Williams, Martha Jones

I would agree to the SJA one - with the exception of putting Mr Smith in Primary (he does feature in every episode after all), and also with the Torchwood one (too date). If Martha does turn out to be joining Torchwood for series 3 then we can put her as primary for those and secondary for the series 2 ones.

The companions one is harder, as people have different ideas. I think the companion list should only contain people who are actually companions in that story - and not regulars. example - Mickie is not a companion till he joins in School Reunion, and should not be listed as a "companion" before then. Jackie was never a companion, so should not be listed. As for the UNIT lot, I don't think they are companions every time they appear (I have no problem with someone being a companion in some stories and not others) - Yates is certainly not a companion in Invasion of the Dinosaurs and the Brig is not one in Colony in Space or The Time Warrior, so neither should be listed as such for those. Archivist's notes

Don't think this structure of primary/secondary casts really obtains anymore. Not sure exactly what Stardizzy was proposing her, because he gave no specifics as to where he wanted this implemented.
