Rory uses the sonic screwdriver on the sonic probe.

The sonic probe was a device used by the future Amy Pond. It had the ability to re-wire the Handbots. The Eleventh Doctor took control of it to help bring the two Amys together. When he did, Amy admitted it was a sonic screwdriver. (DW: The Girl Who Waited)

Dalek Sec called the Tenth Doctor's sonic screwdriver a sonic probe. (DW: Doomsday)
