The Daleks capture a Xxarqon, intending to isolate its slyness to breed a new race of Daleks.
The Daleks also capture a Tentrax, intending to isolate its cruelty to add it to a new breed Daleks.

This is the only story where K9 has come face-to-face with the Daleks and can destroy them with his photon beams.
