• Although much of the series relies on suspension of disbelief, the idea that two untrained teenagers (even those with experience dealing with alien invasions) are able to shut down a nuclear reactor so simply, and without causing major issues such as radiation releases and meltdowns, is pushing things.

• On a related note to the above, unless Sarah Jane called in support from UNIT it's doubtful she and the kids would have been able to simply sneak out of a nuclear power plant undoubtedly entering crisis mode after an unplanned shutdown.

• Sarah Jane refers to Sky as being a teenager after her growth spurt, even though not a moment before Mr. Smith indicates that Sky is only the equivalent of a 12 year-old. The "teen" years begin at 13, hence the name.
