Bat Masterson

Bat Masterson was the Sheriff of Tombstone, Arizona. He tried in vain to persuade Wyatt Earp not to take part in the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral in October 1881. (DW: The Gunfighters)

Historically, Bat Masterson had already left Tombstone before the gunfight.
