Mass messaging

General advice is to not do it. I've done it once, but only because the topic under discussion will affect every editor's work on the site. AFAIK, there is no built-in messaging system. I think you basically do have to have a bot running for 72 hours. Well, maybe less if you've got a small wiki. You might double-check with the admin at w:c:potconline since they've recently sent out Christmas cards to everyone. Maybe they have a different approach.
