Amenhotep was king of Egypt and husband of Queen Nefertiti in 1334 BC. Nefertiti considered him a human sleeping potion. (DW: Dinosaurs on a Spaceship)

Behind the Scenes

  • In real ancient Egypt, Nefertiti was married to Amenhotep IV, also called Akhenaten. The Doctor Who universe does not make it clear whether the Amenhotep she refers to is the same man.
