Name

Is there any sort of convention among the written sources as to the correct spelling of her name? Be it Boudicca or Boudica, this needs to be sourced appropriately as conformity to one single spelling is necessary. Of course, if there is no single spelling used throughout the written sources, (which is likely the case,) then a source is nevertheless needed and this needs to be explained. The current section on her name only deals with the Boudica/Boudicca or Boadiciea issue.--Skittles the hog - talk 17:39, September 12, 2012 (UTC)

Human Nature and The Lonely Computer put Boadicea up as an alternate only. Boudica/Boudicca are interchangeable but which do the stories use?

Boudica with 1 c

Boudicca with 2 c's

  • Human Nature - Seventh Doctor's human identity states it is her real name

This leaves the actual text for Good Queen, Bad Queen, etc. which would trump the book cover

Behind the scenes, Alex Kingston played "Boudica" and Claire Davenport played "Boudicca" in roles outside of Doctor Who. --Nyktimos 20:51, September 12, 2012 (UTC)
