Dårlig Ulv Stranden

Dålig Ulv Stranden (Norwegian for "Bad Wold Bay") was a bay 50 miles outside Bergen in Norway.

After being transported to the alternate Earth, this is the last place where Rose had any contact with the Doctor. (DW: Doomsday). After the events of The Stolen Earth and Journey's End the Doctor took Rose back to Bad Wolf Bay with the Clone Doctor and Jackie.

Behind the scenes

  • The beach was filmed in Southerndown beach, in South Wales.
  • The bay was seen again in Journey's End.
  • Despite pronounciations in the episodes featured, it is actually pronounced "Dorlig Ulv Stranden".
