An entertainment console was a device designed for personal use for the eponymous purpose.

In the 25th century, IMC craft had entertainment consoles installed. The Third Doctor made use of one upon Captain Dent's ship, finding images of combat and the conditions on Earth brought about by overpopulation to be distasteful. (TV: Colony in Space)
