Rory uses the sonic screwdriver on the sonic probe.

The sonic probe was a device used by a future Amy Pond. It had the ability to re-wire the Handbots. The Eleventh Doctor took control of it to help bring the two Amys together. When he did, Amy admitted it was a sonic screwdriver. (TV: The Girl Who Waited)

Dalek Sec once called the Tenth Doctor's sonic screwdriver a sonic probe. (TV: Doomsday)
