The Howling → Daleks
There be spoilers about un-released stories here.
Run back to the forums if you're scared.

So on the old we all ready discussed wich fraction of the daleks competed in the time war but we still havnt got any thoughts on how the daleks get new mutants ( not trying to be dirty) or wether the new paragrim daleks mutants look the same as the bronze dalek mutants Also any other dalek queries you have I'd love to discuss Also I'm not going to read this until the eighth when doctor who comes to aus where I live so feel free to post spoilers about asylum cause I won't read them till I've watched it --Kingalien 07:01, September 2, 2012 (UTC) sorry forgot to sign it when I made it

Well, I think that intrusive pop-up that shows up everyone time we try to open a page on The Howling makes it pretty clear that spoilers are allowed. Daleks probably produce either asexually or through cloning like the Sontarans, because I don't really see how sexual reproduction would work in those Dalek cases.Icecreamdif 16:23, September 1, 2012 (UTC)

Believe me dude - you don't want to know. 87.102.83.33talk to me 17:36, September 1, 2012 (UTC)

Spoilers may be allowed but they're not necessary, where Dalek reproduction is concerned. The matter was dealt with in The Power of the Daleks, in 1966. That story showed a Dalek production line -- or, rather, two converging production lines: one for the casings & one for the creatures to go into the casings. The creatures were all "test tube babies", grown in vats. The same was strongly implied in Daleks in Manhattan (remember the glowing green embryos the Doctor eventually identified as having DNA that originated on Skaro) & in Victory of the Daleks (listen to the description of the Progenitor). --2.101.51.170talk to me 21:26, September 1, 2012 (UTC)

P.S. to Icecreamdif: "Intrusive" is far too mild a description. At least it now stays away once you've dismissed it. It didn't, the first time I encountered it. --2.101.51.170talk to me 21:29, September 1, 2012 (UTC)

just wondering, does anyone know who wrote the first comment so i can tell them to check ABC iview (the new episode is already up there)? sorry this is off topic, but they need to know. Imamadmad 00:49, September 2, 2012 (UTC)

Imamadmad: It was Kingalien & I've already reminded him several times about signing things. I'm beginning to feel like I'm nagging but it does matter. Take a look at the "Routine archiving" topic for another example of how he's getting in his own way by not reading things (like reminders to sign). --2.101.51.170talk to me 00:57, September 2, 2012 (UTC)

Yer it was me and I did watch it this morning on abc i view but thanks for telling me and to the other contributor your not nagging i do need to remember to sign although I was shore I signed this time but I must of not pressed the right button or something sorry. I don't often read my talk page so I didn't see your other messages Also thanks to the person who told me about the power of the daleks and reminded me of the daleks in manhattan. Test tube babies some how seems more dalekey then just cloning --Kingalien 07:10, September 2, 2012 (UTC)

For another dalek thing to discuss why do you think the daleks in extensive care in asylum of the daleks were all in the post time war casing when they never met the doctor in those casings I think it may be that they got mentally damaged long after they met the doctor and thus placed in different casings --Kingalien 07:26, September 2, 2012 (UTC)

The "person who told [you] about the power of the daleks" etc. is the same one who's been nagging you about signing. My IP address changes every time I connect to the Internet. I used to be able to rely on being either 2.something or 89.something but my ISP has recently widened its range of addresses & now it's pretty random. I've no idea what it'll be, this time. --2.96.22.102talk to me 11:58, September 2, 2012 (UTC)

Kingalien: The Daleks in intensive care were in their correct casings, but the Daleks in the old casings didn't move into plain view that much. From an out of universe point of view this is because the BBC probably didn't want to damage the old Dalek models - and rightly so. 87.102.83.33talk to me 18:32, September 2, 2012 (UTC)

That's not the only weird thing about the Daleks intensive care. I don't remember how all the classic Dalek episodes ended, but didn't all the Daleks on Exxilon and Kemball die?Icecreamdif 19:08, September 2, 2012 (UTC)

It certainly seemed so. However, why should Davros be the only native of Skaro who turns up alive after being presumed dead? --2.99.198.97talk to me 20:50, September 2, 2012 (UTC)

more topics what do you think about the parilment of the daleks, were all the drones and bronze daleks members of the parilment, do they vote? and what are your thoughts on the prime minister of the the daleks --Kingalien 03:55, September 3, 2012 (UTC)

well, if the daleks have a prime minister, that must mean they have a monarch or something above it. but the question is, what? or who? Imamadmad 06:27, September 3, 2012 (UTC)

The emporer possibly, I also found it weird that the supreme seemed to be subordanate to the prime minister --Kingalien 11:20, September 3, 2012 (UTC)

It's no more weird than the Chief of the General Staff being subordinate to our PM. --89.242.79.53talk to me 15:05, September 5, 2012 (UTC)

Reflecting on our PM, I'd change "no more weird" to "substantially less weird". --89.242.79.53talk to me 15:12, September 5, 2012 (UTC)

more queeries do you believe that the daleks in genesis of the daleks the doctor created a new timeline that would contradict all dalek episodes before it i personaly dont like this thoery becuase i like all the stories before genisis and think that just becuase the daleks can travel on there own a bit earlyer it doesnt under mine the other episodes--Kingalien 02:15, September 19, 2012 (UTC)
