Ranjit worked at the same hospital as Rory Williams. He believed that Rory was well liked by everyone at the hospital and asked him to work there full-time. Later, when cubes began attacking people, Ranjit called Rory to come in to help with the massive influx of patients. (TV: The Power of Three)
