Canopus IV was the planet where the Spire was located. It is also the only source of futurite. It is also home to a race of reptilian humanoids who eke out a living from the soil poisoned with futurite. The planet has no plate tectonics. Bernice Summerfield is sent there by God to deal with a potential threat to The People. (PROSE: Ghost Devices)
