The Savoy Hotel was a hotel in Westminster, Central London.
The Eleventh Doctor took his mother- and father-in-law, Amy Pond and Rory Williams, there for an anniversary present on 26 June 1890, their -120th wedding anniversary, The hotel had only recently opened at that time. He assured them there would be no complications, only to discover there was a Zygon ship under the Savoy, and half of the staff were impostors. The Doctor, Amy and Rory managed to deal with this.
