Jahangir was the chief medical officer of the Nandi, and subsequently a new Raghi hospital. He was under Sontaran mind control, tagging colonists with Sontaran DNA as part of a plot to fool the Rutans. The ones whose bodies rejected the DNA he put into quarantine, then secretly killed. He was freed by the Fifth Doctor. He sacrificed himself to atone by blowing up the Nandi near the Tzun Stormblade before it could be used to turn Indra into a star. (PROSE: Lords of the Storm)
