- There is no official title for this story, other than "The Proms Scene" or "Proms Cutaway".
- Russell T Davies stated that there will be a special returning guest.
- The special Doctor Who Prom will be on Sunday 27th July between 11A.M. and 1P.M. on BBC radio 3. It will be shown on BBC4 in a couple of weeks.

- This episode will be followed by a 45th Anniversary Special.
- There may be no enemy.
- This special may involve the return of a past Doctor, possibly the Seventh Doctor. Both Tom Baker and Peter Davison have apparently said they would reappear.
- The Doctor will mention having masqueraded as an actor.
- The Graske are rumoured to return. The Graske has been photographed during filming.
