Sir Elton Hercules John, CBE (born 1947) is an English pop/rock singer, composer and pianist. In a career spanning over four decades, Elton John has sold over 250 million records and has had over 50 Top 40 hits, making him one of the most successful musicians of all time.
In Love & Monsters, a short clip of John in the 1970s is shown in order to differentiate him from the episode's main character, Elton Pope.
