Time wind (or Time winds) are the winds of time that are within the time vortex and intercept points such as The Gateway. (DW: Warriors' Gate). They can have a detrimental effect to computers such as K-9 Mark II and even Time Lords, depending on circumstances. (DW: Warriors' Gate)

Certain time sensitive species, such as the Tharils could walk or ride the time winds, to access other times and places. The Tharils, using this ability build an empire. Humans (being a non-time sensitive species) cannot utilise this ability. (DW: Warriors' Gate)

If exposed to the time winds within the time vortex they can rip things apart, or eat them away, slowly. (BFA: The Time of the Daleks, DWM: Funhouse)
