Story notes
- According to Doctor Who Magazine, production of this mini-episode officially concluded production of Series 4. Davies told DWM that he had to write the episode in a special way as it is scheduled to be broadcast both on television and on radio. This makes this special the first such hybrid episode ever produced for the series.
- This special aired on Sunday 27th July between 11A.M. and 1P.M. on BBC Radio 3. It will be shown on BBC4 in a couple of weeks. It was also be available on the Doctor Who website at 11.40 A.M, however due to rights, the clip was only be made available for a short period of time.

- The Doctor will mention having masqueraded as an actor.

- If these events take place after Journey's End then how would the Doctor have his blue suit if he gave it to the Clone Doctor? (He has more than one set)
Continuity
- It still remains to be confirmed if the special will be considered canonical or not.
- The Doctor says "and he stole my water pistol". This is a reference to The Fires of Pompeii where the Doctor threatens the High Priestess with a water pistol.
- Graskes previously appeared in the seemingly non-canonical Attack of the Graske and one also appeared during The Sarah Jane Adventures serial Whatever Happened to Sarah Jane?.
