CCTV

CCTV was a specialized camera system used by Torchwood Three to track people down. It gave them access to all the surveillance cameras in Cardiff. (TV: Day One)

Occasionally, members of the Torchwood team would use the CCTV cameras to watch people for unprofessional reasons, such as Captain Jack Harkness watching Gwen Cooper kiss her fiancé Rhys Williams. (TV: Meat) As well as around the city, the CCTV cameras are also posted inside of Torchwood Three, occasionally being used to monitor prisoners (like the Weevil Janet TV : Day One). The camera images come up on the computer screens stationed all around Torchwood (i.e. Jack's office, Toshiko Sato's computer TV : Meat, TV : Day One).

The cameras have occasionally been externally shut down, such as when Weevils were being kidnapped. (TV: Combat)
