This article needs to be updated.

Is there a particular reason this is so Torchwood-focused? This is just closed circuit television, right? As seen in operation in The Sound of Drums and The Power of Three and Army of Ghosts? We're not alleging this is a piece of Torchwood tech, are we?

These omissions are so great that the article's factual accuracy has been compromised. Check out the discussion page and revision history for further clues about what needs to be updated in this article.

ACCTV network, known colloquially as simply CCTV, was a specialised camera system used by Torchwood Three to track people down. It gave them access to all the surveillance cameras in Cardiff. (TV: Day One) The camera images came up on the computer screens stationed all around the base. (TV: Day One, Meat, et al)

As well as around the city, the CCTV cameras were also posted inside of the Torchwood base itself, occasionally being used to monitor prisoners (TV: Day One).

Occasionally, members of the Torchwood team used the CCTV cameras to watch people for personal reasons, such as when Captain Jack Harkness watched Gwen Cooper kiss her fiancé Rhys Williams. (TV: Meat)

The cameras were sometimes shut down, such as when Weevils were being kidnapped. (TV: Combat)
