Doctor Who Magazine 442 was the issue of the magazine cover dated 11 January 2012. Its was the named "Christmas Special", and it accordingly devoted a lot of its space to covering The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe. Its cover, by artist Vince McIndoe, was the first non-photographic cover since DWM 300.
