Tony Auger was the visual effects designer on TV: Black Orchid. The serial was his first credited production, although he may have provided uncredited assistance to the production of TV: A Girl's Best Friend.
As of 2011, he is still active in special effects — as his trade has since come to be known. In 2008, he was special effects co-ordinator on the revival of Survivors directed by Andrew Gunn and starring Freema Agyeman, Paterson Joseph, Daniel Ryan, Ronny Jhutti, Julie Graham and Roger Lloyd-Pack. In 2009 he worked on Collision with Paul McGann, Dean Lennox Kelly, Sylvia Syms and Lenora Crichlow.
