Appletown

Appletown was an idyllic village in the remote American desert where the townsfolk go peacefully about their suburban routines. It plays a part in the novel Nuclear Time. It however was destroyed in the novel when the 11th doctor "skimmed" a nuclear warhead across the time span of an hour and a half to help the ponds escape to the Tardis.
