Dor'een was a native of the planet Akhaten during the Festival of Offerings. She barked at Clara after Clara hit her by mistake. The Doctor barked at her back and she calmed down. Later, Clara and the Doctor needed to purchase Dor'een hovercraft, so Clara gave her her mother's ring, since it was the most sentimental object she had. (TV: The Rings of Akhaten)
