Jack used the remains of 2 robot hosts from a game show and a dafriblicater to make an energy weapon (Bad Wolf). He used this to destroy a dalek that was inside the tardis (parting of the ways), to destroy one that exterminated the Doctor (stolen earth), and to destroy the supreme dalek (journey's end).
