Ekthelios was a planet with a spaceport patrolled by GateBots. The Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond, had an unspecified but dangerous adventure there in which, without Amy’s idea about using nail polish, Ekthelios would have become part of the Croidum Expansion. Little is known about the incident, except that the Doctor and Amy were recognised as heroes and granted the freedom of the planet by the Central Governors. (COMIC: Attack of the GateBots!)
