Further Information
- Holiday Specials were tradition bumper sized comics/magazines from the publishers of regular titles. Produced twice yearly they were generally released around Summer and Autumn time in time for the school summer holidays and the Christmas holiday period.
- This seventh Special saw a return to all-new material, this time around by way of celebrating the series' 20th Anniversary. There was a Producer theme to the contents which contained interviews with all the series producers.
- Once again this was an irregular large sized issue was printed in December 1983 and had a cover price of 95p (UK).
- The cover featured an assortment of images including; The Fifth Doctor and Kamelion from (DW): The King's Demons,The Garm from (DW): Terminus an astronaut from (DW): The Ambassadors of Death A Silurian from (DW): Doctor Who and the Silurians and Davros from (DW): Genesis of the Daleks
- This issue has a typo in its indicia. Apparently, Marvel forgot what magazine they were publishing, because they falsely called this publication, Doctor Who Monthly. The publication had generally been cited as Doctor Who Special up to this point, and afterwards it would be officially known as Doctor Who Summer Special and Doctor Who Winter Special. This was somewhat ironic because Marvel was in the process of abandoning the title Doctor Who Monthly for its main magazine.
