Porridge was the king of the universe and the emperor of the Earth Empire. He hid from the Platoon and lived in Hedgewick's World of Wonders. When the Eleventh Doctor, Clara Oswald, Angie Maitland and Artie Maitland visited the World of Wonders, he controlled a Cyberman when Artie was playing chess with it. Clara was put in charge of the platoon when the real Cybermen attacked. He helped her commanding the military staff. Later, when the Cybermen was temporally deactivated, he used the chance, activated the bomb the would implode the planet and teleported all the people in the room to his spaceship. The Cybermen and the planet were exploded, and Porridge ship's was now in a safe distance from the danger. In the ship, he proposed to Clara, telling her that "he never met someone like her," and that she could be "the queen of a thousand galaxies, and the wife of the emperor." Clara refused, telling that she doesn't want to be a queen. Porridge jokingly ordered to execute Clara and her three friends, then told them to go, "before he'll change his mind" (TV: Nightmare in Silver).
