Although the general appearance of the Daleks has remained the same, the colours and some details of the model have evolved over time. Variants have either been created by altering different Daleks orthe Dalek created like that in the first place. Some Dalek variants can be created from humans. Individual variants such as leaders can often be made ofa bigger casing or a differnt colour.
