The Dalek Scientific Division was a high-ranking group in the Dalek hierarchy. Their needs overrode all other orders and concerns in at least one mission. (AUDIO: Return of the Daleks) Science Daleks were claimed to be silver (The Dalek Tapes). It was also shown that the Eighth Doctor met a green Dalek scientist.
