Rani Chandra was a teenage girl who assisted Sarah Jane Smith and her friend in combatting alien menaces after she moved to Bannerman Road in Ealing, London. She wants to become a journalist like Sarah Jane.
Relationships with everyone
- Sarah Jane Smith - She looks upto to Sarah and wants to become a journalist as well. Sarah in return allows her to join in her adventures.
- Luke Smith - She likes Luke because they're both intelligent and eager to learn.
- Clyde Langer - She likes him beacuse he has charm, she likes his coolness and that he is a bit rebellious. She is taking over from Yasmim Page who leaving after episode one because of Yasmim's GCSES.
