Sonic lipstick

The sonic lipstick was a device regularly employed by Sarah Jane Smith after she stopped traveling with the Doctor. A gift from the Doctor, it had qualities and abilities similar to his own sonic screwdriver while resembling a real lipstick closely enough not to seem suspicious.

It generated a pinkish-red light when used. Like the Doctor's sonic screwdriver, it also remained ineffective against deadlock seals.
Uses
Sarah Jane had used it to open and close doors, send an electrical charge, and cut cables. She claimed she could destroy the Gorgon's portal key with sonic disruptions from the lipstick, but this may have been a bluff. (SJA: Eyes of the Gorgon)

Sarah Jane used the device to get through a door and escape the testing of the reality bomb. (DW: Journey's End)
Behind the Scenes
- Character Options released a Sonic Lipstick replica featuring lights and sounds. The toy was slightly different from the original, in that there were no ridges on the actual prop.
